When will the ski resorts
in Pennsylvania Open?
Fall
is now here and the snow will be coming soon. There is no guarantee
opening day for the ski season in Pennsylvania. Most
will start to open after Thanksgiving. At this time many of
the ski resorts in Pa are starting
to line up employees for the coming ski season and thinking
about the first day when they can start blowing snow. Temp is
the key element to getting the mountains open. Snow making is
very pricey so no one wants to start blowing if they think it
might melt the following week.
To keep up date on the Open day of each ski resort
in Pennsylvania visit one of the many snow
report web sites. Most of theses sites get there info from the
ski resort and the weather channel. You can also set up ski
report alerts with many of these web sites They will send
you emails of the current ski conditions at your favorite resort.
My guess for first day of skiing in Pennsylvania is Nov 23rd,
2006. We will all see soon. See you on the mountains.

The Why Every Vacation Home Needs Board
Games.
The
best way to make money with your vacation home in Pennsylvania
is renting it out when your not using it. The best way to do
this is to make sure ever family that stays at your house comes
back the next five years. Studies show that most family would
prefer to stay in the same house year after year. The way to
keep families happy is make sure they have everything they need
for the perfect vacation. Board games are one of the cheap ways
of doing this. I find that most vacationers enjoy board games
for after dinner entertainment. They are also great for rainy
days or just lazy days.
It is important to have a good mix of games. You should have
games for kids, young adults, adults and grandparents. I would
suggest puzzles and cards for the grandparents, Poker sets are
always a hit for the young adults and most kids enjoy games
like monopoly or trivia. Some of my families favorites include
Risk, Taboo, and Monopoly. Find cheap board games at Flea Markets
and yard sales.
